Sergio Perez continued Red Bull’s dominance this year after winning the F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. He overtook Charles Leclerc halfway through the race. Also, his teammate Max Verstappen argued with George Russell of Mercedes.
Russell overtook Verstappen after the first three corners of the race. However, the latter managed to retake his position and earn a podium spot in Azerbaijan. The two drivers continued arguing off-track, as seen by TV audiences worldwide.
According to sports betting news reports, the contact damaged Verstappen’s car. However, he still managed to overtake Russell in the sixth lap and held onto the third spot. He finished the race in second place, and Russell in third.
